Based within the SSC based in Prague the Data Analysis team is responsible to support the Order Desk, Sales Teams and Finance with daily operations around principal commercial systems (SAP, Data Warehouse), data management, analysis and operational-to-management reporting for 25 countries in Europe scope.
First line support towards Commercial Organizations, Order Desk teams and customers when it comes to order-to-cash process, data management and analysis.
Responsible for timely and complete data collection from key retailers (sales out and stock in trade) in co-operation with local CO
Responsible for transforming many varying inputs (mostly xls and/or txt file based) into standard format (database), from there load into enterprise data warehouse (QlikView)
Trouble shoot issues in data availability and/or quality with local COs’
Responsible to lead and develop the Data Management team – 4 people
Ownership and continuous improvement of the Stock-in-trade/Sell-out (SIT/SO) process and tools
Coordination and support of operations around the SIT/SO area
Database design, architecture, development and integration with other systems and processes
Ownership of master data, procedures and analysis of output, including reporting
Training, mentoring and development of own team members
Resolve escalations between Local/Cluster organization, Order Desk and/or Finance and other key stakeholders
Analyze recurrent/structural issues, take ownership, drive dialogue, propose and deliver structural solution to them.
Structure and develop overall System and Data Analysis team from people perspective (HR)
Participate in design, implementation and maintenance of an optimized data warehous
Optimize current solution for data collection and data transformation.
Troubleshoot issues in data availability and/or quality with local contacts and escalate if necessary.
Coaches and develops the team to reach operational excellence with reasonable time spent.
Manage resourcing within the team and ensure backfilling is done where possible to balance workload, either by sharing across own team or others and act as an escalation point.
Bachelor level education in Mathematics, Statistics, IT or business management with strong affinity towards IT (programming and database management)
3+ years of relevant work experience as data analyst, solution architect, developer (shared service center, development & implementation)
Stong data warehousing and database management skills (SQL, MS Access), advanced Excel knowledge (pivots, formulas, VBA), comfortable with writing new and adjusting existing VBA code in various MS tools
Knowledge of other programming languages is a plus (.NET, Python, shell scripting, XML, etc.) as advantage
Logical thinking and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and back.
Creative, challenging, bold, proactive and detail oriented
Strong communication skills and team spirit, preferably experience with team management
Fluency in English is a must, multi-lingual is a plus
Proactive behavior in order to resolve problems & queries with analytical and efficiency focus.
Structured approach & close loop follow-up
Project management capabilities, certification is a plus
