Actuary (Eng)

For our important client, international reinsurance company, we are looking for candidates experienced in (RE) INSURANCE business and actuary agenda. We are looking for candidates to join both, Non-Life and Life Actuary Teams.

We are helping to strengthen the teams of reinsurance company operating mainly in Central and Eastern Europe to help in their strategic growth. Tasks in Non-Life Department

• Pricing and stochastic modelling of complex reinsurance contracts in close cooperation with the non-life underwriting team (reflecting the level of your experience)

• Continuous improvement of the pricing tools used by our actuaries and underwriters

• Involvement in the parametrisation of our capital model

• Sharing knowledge with junior actuaries and employees from other departments

• Supporting the development and maintenance of the pricing tools used by our actuaries and underwriters (only pricing Actuary)

What We Expect

• University degree in Actuary, financial mathematics, statistics, economic studies or similar subjects

• Experience in a non-life or life actuarial role (3 level positions require different deepness of praxes from student, graduate to professional level)

• Advanced command of English German is an advantage

• Professional communication skills

• Proactive and creative approach, team player

• Responsibility and reliability

• Excel advanced user, VBA is an advantage
